Little flashes and sparkles appear when light hits water, and sometimes you have to close your eyes or squint to see anything at all.
Stefanie Moshammer was commissioned by Louis Vuitton to take a close look at her hometown, Vienna, to deal with prejudices, stereotypes, her own feelings, and an internal and external perspective. This complex relationship has resulted in a book entitled 'A Fountain Playing in the Sun'. In it, archival material, newly taken photographs, and digital artifacts are combined with each other, resulting in a narrative of its own. This narrative is further developed into space, developed through photographs, videos, and installations.

The book is published by Louis Vuitton Fashion Eye.
The exhibiton views are from the show at Villa Mautner Jäger Vienna 2023.
